Just a note on that butane.  I use a Mini Galley that I've had for years, but 
always remember that butane is heavier than air, and will find the lowest 
place.  ALWAYS
change canisters on deck, and make sure it's not leaking before you take it 
below.
Propane is lighter that air but still very explosive. Nothing wrong with a 
alchoal stove, it just needs to be used correctly, like most things in life.
