Chris:In the Harken 2000 catalog page 199 item 053 is the type of boom
vang that Russ was referring to.This is the same exact setup I installed
on my boat.I measured from the cabin top to goose neck bolt,then measure
same distance along boom which will give a perfect 45 degree.I like my
cam cleat block on top to coil excess rope off deck.E-mail harken for
