[Alberg30] Fixing bad decks

Years ago we had a member that installed teak over the existing deck which
had started to delaminate. The teak installation made the problem worse. The
fasterners, which penetrated the core of the existing deck, began to leak
and the delamination problem became more serious because it trapped the
water beneath the teak. This same problem is shared by other boats with teak
decks such as Cheoy Lee. My advice is not to do it.

Any suggestions for me. I want to replace my deck with teak. Should I strip
it all down and start fresh?
