[Alberg30] Bermuda Trip

My girlfriend and I are sailing to Bermuda July of 2003, along with at least
one other boat, (Brian and Elaine Timmins), my girlfriend and I have pretty
much 2 thousand miles of coastal cruising experience and have completed the
Safety at Sea Seminar requirement for the races.

I called my insurance agent (Boat US) to get an extended cruising policy for
our trip;

After all the usual requirements (safety equipment, surveys and so on) are
met, they want to see a crew of 3 to 4 experienced sailors on this trip. I
find this quite odd. I told the representative that it will be just the two
of us and she recommended that I call the following underwriters. I also
asked for the cost and was advised that it will cost about 50-75% of my
current annual rate ($575).
