[Alberg30] What's a knee hull?

What wood is good to use to replace the knee? Plywood??? or does it need
to be solid?
Teak???? or can it be something from Home Depot?
When going through the trouble of replacing the Knee(s) is there a
recommended length x width x thickness for the replacement pieces?
I'm going to be helping Alfredo grind (cut) out the old one(s) and we
need a little more "local knowledge" to rebuild it properly.
Thanks,
Brian and Alfredo (without his knowledge)
PS Is there anything about this job on the site or in the maintenance
manual?
