[Public-list] thru hulls

well, i have removed my first thru hull. as usual, it was dark, so the question, did whitby only have one washer on the outside of the hull, or is there a possibility of one hiding somehow under caulk etc. also, in the 1998 alberg 30 edition of the maintenance manual it states the small thru hulls need to be replaced. does that mean whitby used "real" thru hulls for the larger diameter and i don't need to worry about changing them?
