Roger --
My vote is for the new polyurethane glues. I have used the Elmers brand and the bond is pretty
amazing. I had a finish carpenter rebuild my lazerette hatch, using edge molding and 3/8"thick
teak planks. We decided on Gorilla Glue because of its great bonding capabilities with oily woods.
I just received the hatch back today and it looks great -- all the joints are tight as can be. (
Keep in mind the camber of the lazerette).
