When I did mine, it was 15% rot and the rest came out as chips using a router and wood chisel. Is far as I could tell, the plywood inserts were put in the mold then gelcoat and the glass was laid on. There were groves in the back of the plywood and the gelcoat filled them. Hull 585 made in 1975. Mark 1142391881.0
