[Public-List] Anyone Have a Source for a Transmission Cable

The transmission cable on Andante wore out years ago, but was finally
destroyed while removing the motor this spring.

I need to replace the cable, and believe that Teleflex makes one with
the appropriate ends, however the shortest available standard length
appears to be a 6 footer, while the cable in the Alberg is somewhere in
the 3-4 foot range.  

Has anyone replaced their cable recently?  Did you find a same-size
replacement?  If not, did you get a longer one and loop it around behind
the engine?  If so, how long a cable did you find sufficient to keep the
turn radius appropriate?
