I put everything back together with never seize. My problem has always
been taking stuff apart (down the road) without destroying it. It works
especially well with exhaust parts, but I even put the stuff on the
inside of hoses before installing on the barb fittings.
I have split bronze and brass fittings using teflon tape, it makes it
easy to overtighten. I would think with plastic that is a real
possibility. Be careful.
Nev-R-Seize is conductive according to the packaging, btw. A previous
post mentions using it as insulation preventing electroylsis. That won't
work for that purpose, me thinks. I coat the threads of my teardrop zinc
with it and it corrodes just fine.
