I've become a fan of shelter to shelter hiking-quicker breaking camp in 
the morning, and some other advantages-so plywood is pretty much what I 
sleep on. I carry a tarp if conditions warrant, 18 oz. to carry.

It's amazing how rank that stuff is at home and it taste so good on the 
trail. Desperation stomach filling is a great flavor enhancer, it seems.
