The Chesapeake Alberg 30 rules state

'The maximum length of spinnaker/whisker poles used when racing shall
not exceed 10'9", the maximum "J" dimension.'

This does not change for "white sail" racing.

when I was racing on the bay of Quinte a few years ago PHRF rules stated
that the whisker pole could be no longer than 0.6xLP for the largest
headsail carried. My understanding now is that this requirement has
been eliminated for white sail.
