You both tack through 130 degrees? That sounds pretty much awful. I was
told, years ago, the boat (under ideal conditions) sails 43 degrees off the
wind. Add 2 degrees of set, and tacking navigation becomes pretty simple. I
have found that formula works for me. I use hank on foresails; is the
performance of roller furling sails that bad?
