Hi again,

I have also replaced my port and starboard navigation lights.
After much hemming and hawing, measuring and remeasuring,
I decided that the Attwood 3500 Series LED Navigation Lights
would probably fit on the little triangular pads the existing
Perko lights sit on. It turns out they do, with about a 1/16"
to spare. Although wires on the Attwood lights are not centered,
the still fit down the existing hole.

When I took off the old lights it looked like there was a gasket
stuck to the wood. It turned out to be wood that hadn't
worn nearly as much as the surrounding wood. It stood about
1/8" proud of the the rest of the pad. After filing and
sanding this flush, the new lights fit just fine.
