[Public-List] Structural integrity of bow

Hello - Am checking out Hull #69. Upon popping my head into the anchor locker I cam across a repair to the starboard hull above the waterline - approx 16" x 30". The repair seems pretty solid, if not entirely neat, but there are indications on the exterior of paint (or bondo) failure, possibly from flexing. Along with this, however, at the most forward interior area of the bow, there seems to be an undue number ( like 16) of bolts that connect hull to - deck? forestay attachment? Whatever is going on seems to be an effort to draw something together that doesn't want to close properly, by sheer number of bolts. The seam does not look fair, although it looks like it may once have been, and I wonder if it is connected to whatever stove the hull in in the first place. Anyone have thoughts on this?
