John,

Can't go wrong with either brand. I repainted the interior of Dolce 8 years ago with interlude poly urethane and it still shows a high end shine. I did sand all surfaces with a palm sander and 150 grit paper, also cleaned up surfaces very well with acetone and thinner, then put a coat of primer over everything. Also killed Everything with bleach. my interior areas were eaten through with mildew from neglect because of neglect from the previous owner. So I basically stripped all old paint out, prepped heavily before repainting.

You don't need to use primer, as urethane goes on well directly over raw fiberglass. Probably will need two coats to cover everything.

We have started in the forward section of the boat and prepped all areas by removing all peeling paint and then wire brushed all surfaces. The boat is dry with no mold and some areas are raw fiberglass. I am looking at Interlux and Pettit products and I am at a loss as to what specific product to use. I am sure there are some of you that have gone thru this process before and I would entertain any advice you could offer. I am only the second owner of this great boat and it has been well maintained over the years and I would like to do it right. Thank you in advance.
