Hi All,

I understand and do recall from sailing in a J30 that the two cylinder Yanmars did create a "certain note." My Vetus was pretty quite I guess, my engine compartment has no sound insulation

I recently replaced all the insulation in the motor box but the db level is still high. Idling and low speed are the worst. The yanmar "Hammer" is in full play.
