Mike, this is good info.

I had bought brand new Groco valves at Bacon's the other day. (great  
price?)  but for 1.1/4" thru hulls and so I'll return them.

I've been on the Groco website and now know what size I need....

1" thru hulls & valves, to 1.1/4" hoses fitted to the deck drain fittings!

I do not want modify the hull hole sizes! and I'm not going to change  
the original design. although

I love to hear what others have done. (thanks all)

I may put a third drain in the cockpit out the back...later!
