[Public-List] Blower (now wiring)

I have to say, that while I'm a bit more casual than most about the 
whole blower/fumes thing, I'm pretty paranoid about the wiring. 
According to one insurance table I read once (maybe on BoatUS???), fires 
caused by bad wiring are the leading cause of pleasure vessel loss. The 
factory installed wiring from Whitby was very firmly substandard. I was 
appalled to find wirenuts for example. I think at this point there is no 
original wiring left on my boat, red or otherwise. I hope so anyway, 
because the last bit of wiring that I know was original I found by 
noticing that was disturbingly warm to the touch.
